So far so good! I'm now at 33 1/2 weeks and really don't have any big complaints about being pregnant. I've enjoyed feelings of normalcy, feel comfortable with the 25lbs. I have gained, and have had few discomforts related to my body changing. For the last ten weeks or so, I've been feeling and watching the baby move in my stomach. People get the impression that it's a creepy feeling to a have a little alien object in your body, but from the very beginning I have felt connected to this little baby. Therefore, when the baby moves it is intriguing to watch and feel the different body parts moving by.
As my family knows, I'm extremely ticklish. I remember wrestling with Dad when we were younger and hyperventilating while being tickled! Luckily, Tim doesn't use this secret weapon against me, but the baby does! Throughout the day I will be doing whatever and the baby will move, literally tickling me from the INSIDE. How unfair is that?! Sometimes it even makes me laugh and squirm. The first time it happened, I was going to the bathroom at 2am, walking through our dark room, and I felt a hand on the inside of my belly. Um, yeah, I jumped, just a little! Also during the night when I'm laying on my side it will feel like the baby is tickling the side of my stomach and will make me jump in bed. Does anyone else have this problem?!
Now .. a ticklephobic, just like I was in childhood, paranoid about when the next tickle will happen.
